What is "Team Logistics?"

TEAM Logistics is an alliance consisting of 4 oil operators (ChevronTexaco, ConocoPhillips, Amerada Hess, Britannia Operator Limited), and also ongoing support of SBS Logistics Limited. The alliance was formed in February 2004 and supports the production and drilling operations of all of the 4 oil operators in the Northern North sea.

Mearns Quay, the dedicated quayside facility within Aberdeen harbour, handles over 250,000 tonnes of cargo annually, which is transported between the platforms and the supply base by a fleet of 5 platform supply vessels.

The warehouse receipts are handled at a facility in South Esplanade East, Aberdeen, which is manned by dedicated client teams.

Each team has a Focal Point who is responsible for the service delivery to their specific client.

Storage is provided at 2 locations, namely at Edzell and Altens.

The TEAM Logistics Warehouse situated at Edzell, houses long term stock, and there are several acres of open pipe storage.

Backload is handled at the Altens warehouse by the relevant teams.
